La Lume Filmes nasce nel 2000 nella città di São Luís, Brasile, come casa di produzione cinematografica che crede nelle potenzialità dell’arte come rivelazione delle aspirazioni e dei desideri dell’artista nel mondo contemporaneo.
Come produttore nei quasi venti anni di esistenza ha realizzato più di trenta progetti in linea con la sua filosofia: fare film indipendenti, audaci e rischiosi.
